1 in 100 people in the UK are now diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, and about the same number choose to be on a gluten free diet because it makes them feel better.

Christine's story…
I am a Coeliac and have been for over 40 years and I am pleased to say that the selection of food available to a Coeliac has come a long way from cardboard biscuits, bread in tins, and fruit salad. These plain and basic choices motivated me and kick-started Christine's Puddings.
My mission – To make delicious and tasty puddings and tarts for all to enjoy
Puddings…
Who does not like a Pudding – we make Sticky Toffee, Christmas Puddings, Sponge Puddings and a Bread Pudding.
Tarts and Pastry Cases…
All our pastry cases and tarts are hand made, even the flour for all our pastry is blended by hand
Doughnuts…
We now make doughnuts, we mainly sell at our Pop Ups but occasionally do a doughnut run around Dorset.
The
Puddings…
and tarts too!
A Coeliac for over 40 years, Christine knows quite a bit about the gluten free diet. It used to be bread in tins, cardboard biscuits (that could break your teeth), and if you were in a restaurant and asked what was for pudding, you usually get the answer – a fruit salad!
The
story behind…
the puddings, and the tarts too!
Heading…
We founded Christine's Puddings out of a deep love for good gluten free food, for food that is enjoyed by everyone, even if not on a gluten free diet.
Where possible we use local ingredients, local Free Range eggs, local vegetables, local cream and cheeses. We strive to make each and every pudding or tart a wholesome expression of our love for food, life and living.
Christine's Puddings was born in 2008 as a tiny business selling Christmas Puddings overlooking the beautiful Blackmore Vale and the River Stour in deepest, darkest and delicious
Dorset. After attending a small food event in our home town we fell in love with food festivals and now our range has grown
Over the years we have branched out and have enjoyed attending larger food events and festivals, unfortunately they are not available at the moment, but hopefully they, and we will be back.

We are all in this together, let's help each other…
Set up in a challenging time, we created the Gluten Free Hub to enable you to buy handmade Gluten Free produce while keeping you safe, and also to support producers who would normally sell their produce to delis, cafes or at food festivals, but due to the pandemic have not found it easy.
Buy and get your orders delivered direct to your door or collect from us at the Hub.
Follow us on social media and the website for all the latest information - and stay safe!

(Yes, we do catering... just ask us!)
Nearly all of the ingredients we use here at Christine's are just that: local.
In addition to our menu items, we also offer weekly specials inspired by seasonal ingredients, the weather and how we are feeling. We are always on the lookout for new sources of ideas and inspiration, so when we travel the world (at the moment we can't easily) we bring back our favourite flavours and culinary discoveries.

…christine's puddings
is located in Sturminster Newton where our customers can pre-order or pop in when we have our monthly Pop Up Shops.
The seasonally inspired, mouth-watering menu changes on each Pop Up with delicious puddings, sweet and savoury tarts, cakes, and doughnuts.
We recommend ordering our doughnuts as they sell out fast
